At SchoolKaj, we aim to provide a transparent and fair billing process for all our partnered educational institutions. Please read our cancellation and refund policies carefully before making a payment.
1. Initial Security Deposit
When you register a new school, an initial Security Deposit of ₹2000 is required. This fee covers the immediate cloud server allocation, database creation, and manual setup of your dedicated node by our technical team. Because this cost is incurred immediately by our infrastructure, the ₹2000 Security Deposit is strictly non-refundable.
2. Annual Subscription Fees
The remaining balance of your annual subscription is due within 30 days of your portal going live. Once the annual fee is paid:
- If you decide to cancel the software within the first 7 days of paying the final balance, you may request a partial refund.
- After 7 days, the annual subscription fee becomes non-refundable, as the server resources have been locked in for the entire academic year.
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
If you wish to stop using SchoolKaj for the next academic session, you must notify us at least 30 days before your annual renewal date. You can cancel your service by sending an official email from your registered admin email address to team@schoolkaj.com.
Upon cancellation, your school's portal will be deactivated at the end of your current billing cycle. You will be provided a window to download and export all your student data and records before the servers are wiped.
4. Failed or Accidental Transactions
If a technical error occurs during checkout (e.g., your bank account is debited twice for the same transaction), please contact our support team immediately via WhatsApp (+91 9024919370) or email. We will verify the transaction with our payment gateway partner (Razorpay) and process a full refund for the duplicate amount within 5-7 business days.
